The Fresh Diet Executive Portrait Shoot - March 25th, 2011

It is always nice to have a happy client who continues to offer exciting opportunities on a regular basis and The Fresh Diet company have been keeping me very busy with a number of photo shoots this year.

Please visit their website and try out their food. It is delicious. www.thefreshdiet.com.

I had the honor of photographing most of the top executives of this ‘Inc. 500 – Fastest Growing Company’ including the owners and founders: Zalmi Duchman, CEO, and Yosef Schwartz, Chief Culinary Officer.

Zalmi Duchman has just recently been nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year award which was displayed in Times Square with the photograph I took of him.

The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne - Pre Sony Ericsson Charity Tennis Event 2011.

Once again I had the opportunity to photograph this exciting event where a few lucky guests were able to try their skills against some of the top tennis players in the world: Cliff Drysdale, Andy Roddick, Kim Clijsters, Caroline Wozniaki, Guillermo Canas, and Darren Cahill.
This wonderful charity event is growing bigger every year and attracting more and more deserved recognition from the likes of CBS 4’s sportscaster Jim Berry

The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne – 10 Year Employees Group Portrait

I was honoured to be asked to photograph a group portrait of the employees of the Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne, Florida on March 11th, 2011.

Each employee was celebrating 10 years or more with this prestigious Hotel.   To mark this landmark anniversary and their valuable contribution to the success of the hotel a special party was thrown. I am glad I could be part of this special event.

Local Addy Awards, Miami

Local ADDY Awards, MIAMI – March 10th, 2011.

In March I was invited by my friend and client Dorn Martell, Executive Vice President and Creative Director at Tinsley Advertising, to attend the 2011 local Miami ADDY Awards. He had told me that I had won 4 local Golden Addy Awards in photography for the ‘Monroe County Tourism Campaign’ we shot in June of 2010. You can imagine my excitement  and I quickly obtained my tickets for this auspicious occasion. He however neglected to tell me that not only did I win, but Tinsley had won 12 Silver Addys and 14 Gold Addys for their print advertising campaigns for Monroe County as well. I would like to congratulate them on their outstanding work.  They are deserved winners..

I won my awards in the following categories:

Visit Florida Campaign 2011

In December of 2010 I had another opportunity to help Florida Tourism in the wake of the Gulf oil spill, by photographing the ‘Visit Florida’ campaign.

We started this incredible project up in Panama City Beach, where temperatures dropped to a very chilly 17 degrees fahrenheit. As you can imagine everyone was bundled up and we all looked like we were going skiing in the Alps rather than going to the warm sunny beaches of Florida. Our models deserve special mention for their bravery in the face of plunging temperatures as they were the ones to run around in just their swimming suits, stopping to warm up every 5-10 minutes in front of 2 jet heaters we brought down to the beach. Regardless of the temperature we captured the essence and beauty of these beaches and the dining experience that are associated with Florida.

A special thanks to 'Pineapple Willy's' in Panama City Beach for letting us shoot at their location.

The rest of the project was produced down in Miami where the temperatures were warmer and everyone seemed more comfortable. On our first day in Miami we had the honor to shoot at the Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne. The beauty of this property is breath taking as you can see in the photographs we shot. The beaches of South Beach and South Point Park are just as beautiful and our photos, I think, capture the flavor of the Sunshine State.

Special thanks to the Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne for their beautiful location.
