Florida Keys Tourism Shoot

CLIENT - Monroe County Tourism

I have had the wonderful opportunity of photographing the Monroe County (Florida Keys) Tourism Campaign in the Month of June – the majestic beauty of it all certainly made my job infinitely easier.

Please visit my website to view more of the beautiful Florida Keys. www.stephenflint.com

It really was amazing to get to know the Keys again and to see how really beautiful they are: the breath taking sunrises and sunsets, the glass planes of turquoise waters and the overwhelming beauty of places you can happen upon which are little pieces of heaven. The Keys have always had an aura of serenity and peace for me and this is still the case, but what was truly eye opening was the diversity of each of the five districts we photographed, from Key West to Key Largo: they each have their own distinctive personalities.

The Gulf Coast oil spill has been an environmental disaster on a catastrophic scale, especially for the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, the Pan Handle of Florida and Texas. Though they have capped the leak, it remains to be seen what the environmental damage will be to the coast lines of these States, the wild life that inhabit these areas and the entire eco system of the Gulf.  Whilst the clean up process will run for many years to come, the Keys are still open, oil free and still as beautiful as ever. So please go see for yourselves just how amazing and unique these places are. www.fla-keys.com
